03/31/15  “where can you buy ted neeley souvenirs?”  –  Most likely in any live concert or reshowing of the stage musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Although what kind of ‘souvenir’ could you possibly find, except posters of Ted Neeley as JCS.  Here’s the reason this searcher landed on this website:  “Superstar” – Confessions of an Idolater

We usually teach that the Psalms are the inspired writings of men on which doctrine should not be based; however, this statement is based on the self-description of YHWH Himself, to a privileged chosen mediator Moses. in Exodus 34:6:

And YHWH passed before his face and called out:  YHWH YHWH God, showing mercy, showing favor, long-suffering in anger, abundant in loyalty and faithfulness, keeping loyalty to the thousandth (generation), bearing iniquity, rebellion and sin, , yet not clearing, clearing (the guilty) calling-to-account the iniquity of the fathers upon sons and upon sons’ sons, to the third and fourth (generation)!

03/15/15 “numbers 20:27-29 why was it necessary to record aaron’s death” –

God. Heb. Elohim. The existence of the Deity is throughout Scripture assumed: it is not a matter for argument or doubt.  Elohim is the general designation of the Divine Being in the Bible, as the fountain and source of all things.  Elohim is a plural form, which is often used in Hebrew to denote plenitude or might.  Here it indicates that God comprehends and unifies all the forces of eternity and infinity.

03/01/15  For starters, we’re going along with “National Nutrition Month” and reminding our  webvisitors about the “Maker’s Diet” based on Leviticus 11 (for meat-eaters) and Genesis 3 for Vegetarians/Vegans.

Here’s our contribution to human health:

[Not that anybody would  care to know but it doesn’t hurt to gain knowledge about many things we take for granted.  We mouth the days of the week and the months of the year, hardly giving a thought to who or what these divisions of time have been named after, who named them, and why.  So what, who cares, does it matter?  Well, if you ever end up answering the 64M$ question, you’ll wish you had done some homework on trivia.   So here’s a link to explain the why’s and who’s in the Gregorian calendar:

March—Mars’ month

Middle English March(e)Anglo-French March(e)/Old English Martius/Latin/Martius “of Mars”/Latin Marti(s) “Mars” + -us (adj. suffix)/Latin Martius mensis “month of Mars”

Martius has always had 31 days. March was the original beginning of the year, and the time for the resumption of war.  Mars is the Roman god of war. He is identified with the Greek god Ares.

Now, what about the biblical calendar, what month are we currently in?  February 20 was the first day of the month of Adar.  For a backgrounder, here’s a post that explains what the month means to the Jewish people:  http://www.chabad.org/holidays/purim/article_cdo/aid/2863908/jewish/9-Things-You-Probably-Didnt-Know-About-the-Month-of-Adar.htm

And in this day and age, cause-oriented people and organizations, March has become the month for reminders; just like February was Love Month and Heart Heath Month, March is Fire Prevention Month.—Admin1]
