[Sinaites embrace the prayer traditions of all nations and all people who believe that there is a Creator-God because we experience His Presence and His Handiwork in the universe and in witnessing the ‘good’ in humanity. We believe that YHWH, the One True God knows who are the true seekers though we believe that just like ourselves once upon our ‘ignorant’ past, many are on the way to discovering HIM and that those who continue in their quest will surely ‘arrive’ where?
- The place of His Revelation? Sinai.
To discover what?
- His Revelation: the TORAH.
And in the process of studying, learning, applying Torah to life, the ‘pilgrim’-seeker of the One True God will discover Him and know Him to the extent He has revealed Himself in the pages of His true revelation, the Torah. That in itself is a journey, if not THE journey of a lifetime.
We acknowledge that multitudes who have not heard of nor read the Torah of YHWH nevertheless live the Torah . . . how so? Because according to Deuteronomy and Jeremiah, YHWH will write His Law (Torah) in the mind and heart of each individual born into life.
While multitudes are still on their journey, YHWH is as He declares: merciful and gracious, righteous and just; He sees the heart of each true seeker, and waits patiently as they tread the path of scriptural education that leads to knowledge of Him and His Way of Life.
On this first Sabbath of March, we feature in a Sinaite’s liturgy the prayers from AMEN: Prayers and Blessings from around the World, compiled by Suzanne Slesin and Emily Gwathmey . These prayers are evidence of the God-consciousness of nations and peoples who seek Him and acknowledge He exists whether or not they have met Him in His Torah; they have their way of expressing their worship of the God they know through nature, through the universe, through their own musings and imagination of what He must be like and what man must do to acknowledge His existence.—Admin1.]

Blessed are You, YHWH our God, King of the Universe, Who commanded us to set aside a day of rest from our workweek, just as You did when you ceased from creating; and in the beautiful tradition of Your chosen people, we kindle the sabbath lights as we welcome Your Queen of days. [Native American ] Weave for us a garment of brightness; May the warp be the white light of morning, May the weft be the red light of evening, May the fringes be the falling rain, May the border be the standing rainbow. Thus weave for us a garment of brightness, That we may walk fittingly where birds sing, That we may walk fittingly where grass is green, O our mother the earth, O our father the sky. ——————————-

[Sinaite’s Thanksgiving Prayer]
For untold joys and blessings that fill the days of our lives, from spring, summer, autumn, to the winter of our years, we thank our CREATOR Who shared His Breath of Life equally with all living creatures, but singled out humanity to be ‘made in His Image’, a privilege and a responsibility we hold dearly till the end of our days. We seek His blessings upon our fellowship and the emblems that represent His daily provisions: this wine we drink, this bread we share, as we welcome the Queen of days, our first Sabbath for this month. Best of all, we embrace and celebrate, praise and glorify, honor and love, the Creator, the Lord of the Sabbath, the Revelator on Sinai Who proclaimed that YHWH is His Name! [Christian] Our Father Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and leave us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.
